Melbourne Chamber Orchestra performed as the orchestra for the Joan Sutherland/Richard Bonynge Foundation‘s Melbourne concert performance of Handel’s opera Rodelinda. With Maestro Richard Bonynge AC conducting and working with an eminent cast of Australia’s finest singers, the orchestra conjured a magnificent Handel sound under concertmaster and Baroque music specialist Rachael Beesley. Melbourne Recital Centre was the perfect venue for this beautiful and rarely-heard Baroque gem.
