Global cello superstar Li-Wei Qin joins MCO to perform CPE Bach and Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations in a gilt-edged program channelling the sparkling exuberance of the Rococo era.
Violist Christopher Moore joins MCO to perform concerti by Telemann & JS Bach, in a concert of inventive, awe-inspiringly virtuosic and deeply felt music from the end of the Baroque and beyond.
Perhaps Schubert’s most revered and best-known quartet, Death and the Maiden, performed by the Melba Quartet, with MCO Artistic Director William Hennessy.
