Announcing our 2023 Orchestral Season

As the adage says, a journey begins with a first step. But what if our first step is a journey?

Today, we are so excited to share with you the first musical adventures from our incoming artistic director, Sophie Rowell.

Of her vision for the 2023 orchestral season, Sophie says “I had one goal for this season: to showcase the global talent we have right here at home. Victoria is where you’ll find some of the most brilliant musicians and composers in the world and I’m thrilled that audiences will have the opportunity to experience that brilliance in all its glory throughout the year.”

In 2023, MCO is joined by guest artists including recorder virtuoso Genevieve Lacey, ARIA-winning songsmith Lior and Finnish pianist Paavali Jumppanen.

Subscribing is the best way to enjoy our musical year, with packages from three to six concerts and locked-in savings of 25% off full-priced adult and concession tickets. We are pleased to announce that Seniors Card will be accepted as concession for MCO performances from 2023.

We look forward to welcoming you in 2023.
