Melbourne Chamber Orchestra played Daylesford for a second year. Daylesford’s handsome Town Hall was the venue for our concert, featuring Benjamin Martin’s new triple-concerto Trinitas and music of Barber, Elgar, Mozart & Schubert.
The Town Hall is historic on the outside and really charming on the inside. The acoustics are really exceptional and intimate. Here’s a photo of us rehearsing in the Hall before the concert…
The concert was followed by an intimate musical dinner at Daylesford icon Frangos & Frangos. Chef Euan Apedaile put together a six-course dinner to harmonise with performances by an MCO quintet of Dvorak, Schubert and Mozart.
We loved our enthusiastic audiences in Daylesford and look forward to continuing our relationship next year!
