Chamber Music Dining at Narkoojee

  • Glengarry

A delightful and delicious detour to regional Victoria! Our annual concert with lunch at our wine partners, Narkoojee, has become a popular fixture with both our Melbourne and Gippsland audiences. Join us in Glengarry, around two hours east of Melbourne, for a convivial afternoon including a glass of Sparkling Harriet on arrival; gorgeous quartet music; and a three-course lunch with included matched Narkoojee wines.

MCO PRESENTS MUSE

Invented in the parlours of 1920s Paris, “Exquisite Corpse” is a game where each artist depicts a section of a work, revealing only the last portion as a clue for the next. This game has been reimagined for the string quartet, resulting in three new whimsical works capturing the fantasy of their performers and listeners alike.

The brainchild of MCO cellist Blair Harris, the program seamlessly blends works of old and new worlds, from the Baroque masters on the streets of Buenos Aires to ancient folk melodies and with the sounds of 21st-century Australia.
