In an announcement today, the Victorian Government confirmed funding of Melbourne Chamber Orchestra’s 2014 Regional Touring Program. MCO has a major commitment to Victorian audiences and we are thrilled to be able to take our ambitious Victorian touring program on the road next year.
There are an unprecedented 21 performances across 19 regional and metropolitan centres.
MCO is scheduled to perform in Werribee, Sale, Horsham, Mildura, Shepparton, Moonee Ponds, Hamilton, Geelong, Traralgon, Bairnsdale, Mornington, Bendigo, Warragul, Williamstown, Daylesford, Hawthorn, Benalla, Portland and Glengarry. Date and venue information will appear on our What’s On page over the coming weeks.
Four of our season programs will be performed outside of Melbourne, including Viva Vivaldi!, Elegies & Dances, Never Say Farewell and Australian Octet: Chamber Masterworks.
