The Arts Centre Melbourne Carpark and Australian Ballet Centre Carpark offer convenient access. Limited street parking is sometimes available in the streets behind the venue.

Tram 1 stops directly outside the Recital Centre.

There are two restaurants located at Melbourne Recital Centre, Blondie and Script. We strongly recommend booking as there is high demand on concert days.

Parking

The Australian Ballet Centre Carpark at 2 Kavanagh Street Southbank is a 3 minute walk from the venue. Parking is $22 for entry after 5pm. Alternatively, street parking in the streets around South Melbourne is free from 6pm.
 

Transport

The No 1 tram stops immediately outside the ABC Southbank Centre.
 

Dining

There are two restaurants located at Melbourne Recital Centre on the other side of Sturt Street, Blondie and Script. We strongly recommend booking as there is high demand on concert days.
 

Seating

Seating is general admission, in two zones. Patrons with premium general admission tickets may sit in the seats designated as premium zone, at the front of the stalls and balcony.
 

Accessibility

There are steps up to the main entrance of Iwaki. Wheelchair access is via the front doors of the ABC building. Please arrange your entry with ABC Security or the MCO staff upon arrival.


Hawthorn Arts Centre

Company table (in foyer) opens at 6:30pm; auditorium doors open from 7:00pm.
 

Parking

Public parking is available at the rear of the Centre, accessible from Kent St or Oxley Road. Additional parking is also available a short walk from the Centre on Serpells Lane and Swinburne Avenue. Please note, restrictions apply.
 

Transport

Train: Alamein/Belgrave/Lilydale lines – arrive at Glenferrie Station, walk 2 minutes south along Glenferrie Road then turn left into Burwood Road.
Tram 16: Melbourne University to Kew – alight at stop 73.
Tram 70: Docklands to Wattle Park – alight at stop 32 and walk north on Glenferrie Road for 9 minutes until you get to Burwood Rd. Turn right and walk 1 minute east along Burwood Road.
Tram 75: City to Vermont South – alight at stop 32 and walk north on Glenferrie Rd for 9 minutes until you get to Burwood Road. Turn right and walk 1 minute east along Burwood Road.

A wide selection of dining options is available in Glenferrie Road and Burwood Road, close to the venue.
