Ticketing and Concessions

Single tickets to our Melbourne season can be purchased online via Melbourne Recital Centre. To book, call 9699 3333 or follow the booking links from our What’s On listings.



  • General Concession: available only to people that have a valid Australian Carer Card or Australian Pension Card. We regret that we cannot accept Seniors Cards for concession purposes.
  • Under-40s: In 2020, under-40s pricing ($40, B or C Reserve) is available to anyone who is under 40 on 31 December 2020.
  • Student Pricing: Available for full-time students studying in Australia at all levels, including post-graduate.
  • Child Pricing: Available for young people 18 years and under. The orchestra advises parental discretion when bringing young children to MCO performances.

You may be required to present verification of your concession at the Melbourne Recital Centre.
Subscriptions are available to Melbourne series performances. Subscription ticketing may be booked directly through Melbourne Chamber Orchestra.

Opening times

Thursdays: Doors/box office open 6:30pm; auditorium opens around 7:15pm
Sundays: Doors/box office open 1:30pm; auditorium opens around 2:15pm


The Arts Centre Melbourne Carpark and Australian Ballet Centre Carpark offer convenient access. Limited street parking is sometimes available in the streets behind the venue.


Tram 1 stops directly outside the Recital Centre.


There are two restaurants located at Melbourne Recital Centre, Blondie and Script. We strongly recommend booking as there is high demand on concert days.
