Don’t worry if you’re running late!
If you are running late to the performance, the staff will be able to admit you at a suitable break in the performance. This will be during a break for applause or at interval.
What to wear
Attending a concert is about your enjoyment of the experience of live music. Wear something you feel comfortable in, there’s no need to dress up, unless that’s your style!
Programs contain more than just the list of music being performed. They also feature background information on the music and the artists. Programs are complimentary to subscribers and available to the general public by gold coin donation. You can also read the background notes for the concert in the News section of our website before a performance.
One of the most frequently asked questions about attending an MCO concert is when to applaud. It’s not difficult to pick up the right time to clap—simply wait until all the musicians are standing (sometimes it’s only the cellos and bass that have been sitting).
