Triple Baroque

Violinist Ioana Tache take centre stage with MCO soloists to perform dazzling concerti for three violins with orchestra by Vivaldi, Bach & Mustonen. A kaleidoscopic program includes Bach arrangements by Klemperer & Cailliet and Baroque rarities by Avison & Janitsch.

2015 Touring: Souvenir de Florence

MCO’s flagship chamber ensemble, Australian Octet, returns with a dramatic and virtuosic program of chamber music. The performance includes two iconic works of festival chamber music: Tchaikovsky’s bravura string sextet, Souvenir de Florence and Bruch’s lustrous final masterpiece, the Concerto for Octet.
